Hey guys, sorry I’ll have to keep it kinda short again this week – not in the mood at all right now to write more than necessary. But don’t worry, there’s 10 songs here (and one bonus song) for your listening pleasure. Just trust me on this, and check them out pleez.

San Francisco’s PANCE PARTY remixed yet another catchy one by indie/pop duo CHESTER FRENCH (Harvard grads, I might add) called C’mon. The remix is comparable to the earlier (and everyone’s fav) Pance Party banger remix of She Loves Everybody.

Remix or cover, this next version of DAFT PUNK's Fragile is pretty amazing, and not surprisingly it was done by my current favorite remixer REDLIGHT. All I know is - I can't wait to hear Redlight's remix of LITTLE BOOTS' Every Little Earthquake, which hopefully will be released soon. Make sure to grab all of Redlight's remixes on his MySpace.

2. Redlight - Fragile (Daft Punk cover)

It’s a shame that this next remix is a slightly poor audio-quality version, because I really like the remix of Watch The Sun Come Up, a song by UK rapper EXAMPLE, who has been picking up a lot of steam as of late. The remix was done by DEVILS GUN, also from the London area. Good stuff!

This next one has been available for some time, but I just recently came across the remix of THE TOXIC AVENGER banger Toxic Is Dead by Italy’s CYBERPUNKERS. It could possibly be my new favorite remix of the track.

4. The Toxic Avenger – Toxic Is Dead (Cyberpunkers Remix)

Anytime there is a new remix by French duo STEREOHEROES, don’t second guess and just CHECK IT OUT! They’re (more often than not) a safe bet. They recently remixed a track called Digithall by newer French electro/house producer UNDERHALL, who’s only 20 years young. And, here it is:

I recently tweeted about my love/hate relationship with SEBASTIAN’s new release Threnody, which is an 11+ minute “tease” (if anything). The first 9 or so minutes are absolutely worthless. I can’t believe I actually wasted my time listening to that garbage the first time through. It’s almost worth it to finally reach the last two minutes of the song. Cut the 9-minute intro in half (and then in half again), and maybe (just maybe) could be considered an EPIC BANGER. Thankfully, we’re already seeing a few edits and remixes being released of the song – more on those next week.

6. SebastiAn – Threnody

I honestly don’t remember what this next track sounded like, but I remember liking it. I’m feeling really lethargic right now, just trust me on this. DUBBEL DUTCH from Austin, Texas remixed the song Jumpin n’ Pumpin by Brazil’s EDU K. I hadn’t heard of either artist prior to this feature. I heard a couple other remixes of Edu K songs, and I think I remember liking them as well. Take that for what it’s worth. More on all this later…whenever I feel more engaged.

Once again, I’m not at all familiar with Sweden’s PACIFIC!. All I know is, anytime Brazilian duo THE TWELVES remix a track, I’m going to pay attention.

8. Pacific! – Hot Lips (The Twelves Remix)

Man, here’s yet another remix featuring two artists that I’m not that familiar with…but it’s real GOOD. The original tune is Lies by UK band FENECH SOLER (who was featured last week), and the remix is by THE PHANTOMS REVENGE from France (reminds me of The Toxic Avenger, for obvious reasons). Actually I think I might have done a feature on The Phantoms Revenge recently – I dunno, my memory is totally SHOT right now, and I’m not bothered to look it up in our index. You do that.

9. Fenech Soler – Lies (The Phantoms Revenge Remix)

I <3 the highly catchy song Confusion Girl, originally by UK’s FRANKMUSIK. I don’t know how to decipher the tag here, but I believe this is a remix by the one-and-only DON DIABLO, although I could be mistaken – was he a collaborator on the original track? Anyway, this version of the track features an MC named “Ish” (?), which is a nice touch.
