I just received a new remix and set from Toronto’s ¡BORACCHO!, so I figured I’d pass ‘em along to you folks as well. I haven’t had a chance to listen to either just yet – the set list looks pretty rad; it should be a solid one.

This week’s edition of nUb Raver Tuesday features new tunes by Hyper Crush, LAZRtag, The Disco Villains, Mustard Pimp, Redlight, Dandi Wind, Ellie Goulding, Uffie, and more! Click –> HERE <-- for all the previous editions of nUb Raver Tuesday!
Hello there! And thank you for checking out the 38th edition of nUb Raver Tuesday! In case you did not notice, I took a much needed week-long break from NRT (even if I had nearly all of the following features selected and ready-to-go two weeks ago). It was nice not having to feel rushed putting one of these together in half-ass’d fashion, which (I must admit) I have done for the last couple of NRTs. But, I promised that this edition would be a good one, so I will keep my word on it. NRT #39? #40? No promises there! Can you believe we are already approaching the one year anniversary of NRT? More on that in the near future – I’ve got a couple of ideas for the anniversary edition.
My biggest and proudest achievement in the past two weeks was my discovery of LA trio HYPER CRUSH and their catchy song Keep Up. You can think of them as kinda like a nu-rave incarnation of Black Eyed Peas, but in a good way. Maybe. Hyper Crush has been together since 2006 and started out as somewhat of a MySpace sensation. They didn’t start getting national attention until relatively recently, especially after their signing with Universal Motown in November 2008. Even if the name has been known to me for some time, I had never bothered to listen to their music until now. However, my endorsement means nothing here. Hyper Crush opened for Lady GaGa last summer during her European tour, and some of their songs have even found their way into MTV reality shows. Not surprisingly, the trio is booked solid through March, with dates across the country. Several remixes of the song Keep Up (released in November) caught my attention, particularly the one by Chicago producer TONY ARZADON. This is one of the catchiest tracks/remixes I’ve heard in a while and without-a-doubt my top find of the month.
Our favorite American remix duo LAZRTAG recently released a new studio original called Never Gonna Stop, along with a couple of other new originals and remixes (including an unreleased remix of a HORSE THE BAND track – still can’t figure out which Horse song it is ~ I’m out of the loop…but…hot damn! Listen to it on their MySpace). Not surprisingly, Never Gonna Stop is another solid electro banger. Might not be a club favorite or as good as their hit Work Is Play, but it’s definitely a good one to add to your growing collection of LAZRtag tracks.
2. LAZRtag – Never Gonna Stop
In case it slipped past you a couple months prior, LAZRtag also did a nice banger remix of the anthem (well, at least my anthem) We Just Came To Get The Party Started by my other favorite American duo THE DISCO VILLAINS. I highly recommend buying this and the other remixes of the song, available on BEATPORT. I can’t say that I like this one better than the one by French duo NIGHT DRUGS, but it’s close. Very close!
3. The Disco Villains – We Just Came To Get The Party Started (LAZRtag Remix)
Naturally, everytime I see or hear the name DIRTY DISCO YOUTH (of Dim Mak Records) as of late, I always think of our weekly dance party DIRTY DISCO! DANCE PARTY. I’m not going to lie – I probably subconsciously got inspired to take on the name of our weekly night from DDY. Regardless, I can’t say that I’ve heard TOO MUCH from DDY, outside of maybe four or five of their remixes and originals. For instance, I have not yet listened to their song Heads Off, but frankly I’ll listen to just about any remix that is done by French duo MUSTARD PIMP (I’m horrible – that’s really the only reason why I checked this out in the first place). This is nothing to get too worked up about, but you all know by now how much I love Mustard Pimp!
Speaking of MP, I found a new remix of their song Cherry, released by BOTOX BAD BEATS from France a couple weeks ago, and it’s pretty rad. It definitely tops the original version, if you ask me.
This next feature is hands-down the best mashup that I’ve heard in a while…in fact, I might go as far as to say it’s one of the best I’ve heard…PERIOD. The two songs, Hearts on Fire by CUT COPY and Ghosts N’ Stuff by DEADMAU5 are respectively great electronic dance tracks. That goes without saying, really. But, together (with more than just a little mixing and matching)? It’s EPIC. The icing on the cake? It was done by my favorite remixer right now – REDLIGHT, who’s been tearing up the Northeast America (not to mention, all of the electronic music blogs). This will blow your mind.
6. Redlight – Ghosts on Fire (Cut Copy vs. Deadmau5)
In addition, Redlight released a couple of other new gems, including a mashup of All Systems by Melbourne’s KNIGHTLIFE and the 2007 Timbaland anthem The Way I Are. Trust me, it’s almost as irresistible as the preceding mashup. Once again, big ups to Redlight! I look forward to hearing more from him this year.
7. Redlight – The Way All Systems Are (Timbaland vs. Knightlife)
This next feature is definitely one for my boy Antytrend, who introduced me to the exotic, avant-garde, electro-punk sensation that is DANDI WIND, from Vancouver. I recently found this remix of the song Searching Flesh by UK team SOUTH CENTRAL, and it’s pretty amazing (see for yourself). I’m not sure when this was released, but I figured I’d pass it on to you anyway.
8. Dandi Wind – Searching Flesh (South Central Remix)
London’s RUSS CHIMES recently released a remix of Starry Eyed by rising star ELLIE GOULDING, an English singer-songwriter signed to Polydor (and Neon Gold) Records. There’s a few other remixes of Starry Eyed that have surfaced, and most of them are pretty good. So far, none of them top the one by Russ Chimes. The remix hit #1 on Hype Machine’s charts…so take that for what it’s worth.
I finally had a chance to listen to the studio-quality (and uncensored) version of UFFIE’s new single MCs Can Kiss, and it’s certainly change my mind just a bit on my opinion of the song from “ehh…” to “alright, I can dig this.” The release of her debut studio album Sex Dreams and Denim Jeans is quickly approaching (Valentine’s Day to be exact), so it’s safe to assume we’ll be hearing more from her in the not-so-distant future. I’ve only heard of a few remixes of MCs Can Kiss, and most of them are pretty subpar. The one by Philadelphia’s STARKEY is decent, but not much more than that (still yet, the best one of the track I’ve heard thus far). For now, I’ll take it. But, hopefully we’ll hear some better remixes of the song in the next couple weeks.
This edition of nUb Raver Tuesday features new tunes from Heads We Dance, SebastiAn, MSTRKRFT, Proxy, Crookers, Yeah Yeah Yeahs, Passion Pit, Little Boots, and much more! Click –> HERE <-- for all the previous editions of nUb Raver Tuesday!
Happy belated MLK Day everyone! I’m back for another SHORT edition of NRT. More music, less talk. It benefits both sides, really! Most likely, I’ll be keeping it that way for the next several weeks, if not longer. Also, I haven’t made up my mind on next week – might take that Tuesday off. I’ve made it seven consecutive weeks with NRT since taking the month of November off…so I think another short break is well deserved. For now, let’s plan on getting through this edition and then maybe holding off NRT #38 until February 2. I promise it’ll be good. Deal?
I don’t remember exactly why I chose this as my first feature for NRT #37 (Note: I’ve been choosing the featured songs about two weeks in advance, lately…I probably should have put more thought into this). But, no doubt about it, this is still a fairly solid electro track by Montreal trio LE MATOS, who I’m not at all familiar with. The remix of Perfume on a Pig was done by Elektro Boy (surely, it can’t be this guy?). Ehh, either way – trust me and just listen to it.
1. Le Matos – Perfume On A Pig (Elektro Boy Gates of Hell Remix)
Moving along now…I never thought I’d end up really liking electro-pop group HEADS WE DANCE. For some reason, I assumed that there would be no life beyond their catchy single Love In The Digital Age. But ever since, they’ve put out a number of equally good songs, supported by remixes by respectable names like Frankmusik, Don Diablo, TEPR, Sidechains, and others. Their latest December release Take My Picture is an infectiously catchy dance song, which will probably get more and more attention from remix DJs in the following weeks. So far, I’ve gotten hold of one by Germany’s DIGITALFOXGLOVE, who has put out a number of solid studio productions and remixes in the past month or so.
2. Heads We Dance – Take My Picture (Digitalfoxglove Surprise Remix)
By now, I’m sure you’ve had a chance to listen to the new, what-some-are-calling-epic, 11+ minute banger by SEBASTIAN. Yeah, it’s “epic”…even if only the last two minutes or so are actually worth listening to. Here’s the song featured on last week’s NRT #36. I must say, my whole take on the song is overall positive, mostly because I think SEBASTIAN is just-a-bit overrated. Not-so-debatably, his biggest claim-to-fame was his remix/edit/cover/whatever-you-wanna-call-it of Rage Against The Machine’s Killing In The Name Of. He hit a couple of home runs with some production tracks like Walkman and Motor. Unfortunately, there just isn’t much else to talk about (if you ask me that is). Most of his remixes fall short. So for me, the last two minutes of Threnody is gold ~ really, what SebastiAn SHOULD always sound like. Luckily, Niteshade (link?) did us all a big favor by cropping out the noisy, annoying intro and getting right to the juicy stuff. There is some minimal editing (I think), but nothing too special. Additionally, the Capt and Cooked (?) edit was released shortly after and brings something new and exciting to the table.
3. SebastiAn – Threnody (Niteshade’s No 11 Minute Annoyance Edit)
MSTRKRFT’s latest “single” (if you can call it that) It Ain’t Love, the lead-off track from their 2009 album Fist of God, features R&B singer LIL MO and is actually a pretty good song ~ one that I overlooked initially. The remix is even better! This was a collaboration between JFK (one-half of MSTRKFT) and Sacramento star BIRD PETERSON. The song Heartbreaker was the earlier single from the album, featuring R&B singer JOHN LEGEND (somehow these R&B artists sound FABULOUS singing over MSTRKRFT beats). There have been some good remixes of the song thus far, but I’m starting to think the one by Australian duo THREE FINGERS might be my new favorite. The remix has been available for quite a while, but just now did it end up in my hands…and now, yours too!
5. MSTRKRFT – It Ain’t Love (Bird Peterson & JFK Edit)
6. MSTRKRFT – Heartbreaker (ft. John Legend) (Three Fingers Remix)
This is an OLD remix that I’m sure you’ve come across if you’re a fan of either CROOKERS or PROXY. I was just happy to finally find a studio-quality version, instead of the radio rip that has been circulating the blogs over the past year. This dark electro banger is definitely one of my favorite remixes by Crookers to date.
Evan Exempt recently forwarded me the this sick ELITE FORCE tech-funk remix of the popular YEAH YEAH YEAHS‘ anthem Maps. This will put a little bounce in your step for sure! Thanks Ev!
Okay, so I haven’t officially made up my mind on the next remix. Don’t get me wrong, it’s really cool! But, it leaves a lot to be desired too…mostly because I haven’t been too impressed with a lot of the remixes done of PASSION PIT songs. This one of Little Things by THE PHANTOM (from Poland) is probably the best remix of the track out there ~ but loses some points (in my book) for not utilizing the melody of the original song. HOWEVER, The Phantom is doing some really awesome stuff right now, so please do check him out…this included.
9. Passion Pit – Little Things (The Phantom is Drunk Remix)
I don’t know a whole lot about trio MVSEVM from Poland, but I’m growing more and more confident about every remix that is done by duo DADA LIFE from Sweden. This one’s no exception and is a pretty good electro/house track for the dance floor.
I’ve actually got quite a few more tracks that I want to talk about, but I think I’m going to cut it off here. Sorry, they’ll end up in your hands eventually. See you…when I see you?
BONUS SONGS: 11. The Teenagers – Feeling Better (Cavaliers of Fun Remix)
¡BORRACHO! from Toronto, Canada sent us an advanced copy of their latest remix of LADY GAGA’s Love Game, as well as a copy of a concept piece called ‘Music For Connecting Flights‘, admitting “it’s a little different.”

This edition of nUb Raver Tuesday features new tunes from Chester French, Pance Party, Redlight, Example, The Toxic Avenger, Stereoheroes, SebastiAn, The Twelves, Frankmusik, Don Diablo, and much more! Click –> HERE <-- for all the previous editions of nUb Raver Tuesday!
Hey guys, sorry I’ll have to keep it kinda short again this week – not in the mood at all right now to write more than necessary. But don’t worry, there’s 10 songs here (and one bonus song) for your listening pleasure. Just trust me on this, and check them out pleez.
Chester French
San Francisco’s PANCE PARTY remixed yet another catchy one by indie/pop duo CHESTER FRENCH (Harvard grads, I might add) called C’mon. The remix is comparable to the earlier (and everyone’s fav) Pance Party banger remix of She Loves Everybody.
Remix or cover, this next version of DAFT PUNK's Fragile is pretty amazing, and not surprisingly it was done by my current favorite remixer REDLIGHT. All I know is - I can't wait to hear Redlight's remix of LITTLE BOOTS' Every Little Earthquake, which hopefully will be released soon. Make sure to grab all of Redlight's remixes on his MySpace.
2. Redlight - Fragile (Daft Punk cover)
It’s a shame that this next remix is a slightly poor audio-quality version, because I really like the remix of Watch The Sun Come Up, a song by UK rapper EXAMPLE, who has been picking up a lot of steam as of late. The remix was done by DEVILS GUN, also from the London area. Good stuff!
3. Example – Watch The Sun Come Up (Devils Gun Zeigtgeist Remix)
This next one has been available for some time, but I just recently came across the remix of THE TOXIC AVENGER banger Toxic Is Dead by Italy’s CYBERPUNKERS. It could possibly be my new favorite remix of the track.
4. The Toxic Avenger – Toxic Is Dead (Cyberpunkers Remix)
Anytime there is a new remix by French duo STEREOHEROES, don’t second guess and just CHECK IT OUT! They’re (more often than not) a safe bet. They recently remixed a track called Digithall by newer French electro/house producer UNDERHALL, who’s only 20 years young. And, here it is:
I recently tweeted about my love/hate relationship with SEBASTIAN’s new release Threnody, which is an 11+ minute “tease” (if anything). The first 9 or so minutes are absolutely worthless. I can’t believe I actually wasted my time listening to that garbage the first time through. It’s almost worth it to finally reach the last two minutes of the song. Cut the 9-minute intro in half (and then in half again), and maybe (just maybe) could be considered an EPIC BANGER. Thankfully, we’re already seeing a few edits and remixes being released of the song – more on those next week.
6. SebastiAn – Threnody
I honestly don’t remember what this next track sounded like, but I remember liking it. I’m feeling really lethargic right now, just trust me on this. DUBBEL DUTCH from Austin, Texas remixed the song Jumpin n’ Pumpin by Brazil’s EDU K. I hadn’t heard of either artist prior to this feature. I heard a couple other remixes of Edu K songs, and I think I remember liking them as well. Take that for what it’s worth. More on all this later…whenever I feel more engaged.
Once again, I’m not at all familiar with Sweden’s PACIFIC!. All I know is, anytime Brazilian duo THE TWELVES remix a track, I’m going to pay attention.
Man, here’s yet another remix featuring two artists that I’m not that familiar with…but it’s real GOOD. The original tune is Lies by UK band FENECH SOLER (who was featured last week), and the remix is by THE PHANTOMS REVENGE from France (reminds me of The Toxic Avenger, for obvious reasons). Actually I think I might have done a feature on The Phantoms Revenge recently – I dunno, my memory is totally SHOT right now, and I’m not bothered to look it up in our index. You do that.
9. Fenech Soler – Lies (The Phantoms Revenge Remix)
I <3 the highly catchy song Confusion Girl, originally by UK’s FRANKMUSIK. I don’t know how to decipher the tag here, but I believe this is a remix by the one-and-only DON DIABLO, although I could be mistaken – was he a collaborator on the original track? Anyway, this version of the track features an MC named “Ish” (?), which is a nice touch.
10. FrankMusik & Don Diablo – Confusion Girl (ft. Ish) (The Name Is…)
This week’s edition of nUb Raver Tuesday features new songs by Dragonette, Crystal Fighters, Marina & The Diamonds, Little Boots, Popular Damage, and more! Find previous editions -> RIGHT HERE.
Happy 2010 everyone! This is the first edition of nUb Raver Tuesday for the new year! Unfortunately, I’m going to keep it really short today, since I didn’t have much of an opportunity to look for new music in the past week. Honestly, it has been a slow couple of weeks for new music, so I don’t think you’ll have to worry too much. I’ll be back on track for next week’s edition…in fact, I have most of the featured songs selected for next week. Sneak Peak: some new stuff from SebastiAn, Redlight (my favorite electro remixer right now), Chester French & Pance Party, and a lot more. After that, I foresee a break possibly in mid-to-late January. I’m getting tired.
All the remixes I’ve heard so far of DRAGONETTE’s single Pick Up The Phone have been pretty rad, including the latest by HERE WE ARE from Madrid, Spain. Please add this one to your collection:
1. Dragonette – Pick Up The Phone (Here We Are Remix)
So far, I’ve collected over a dozen remixes of I Love London, the catchy new electro track by quintet CRYSTAL FIGHTERS (also from Spain), who vaguely remind me of a poor man’s CRYSTAL CASTLES (maybe) or THE TING TINGS (more likely)…with about ten times less mainstream appeal. Anyway, I’m going to come flat out with it: the remixes have been absolutely TERRIBLE! Seriously guys, why would you even bother turning this song into a boring 6+ minute electro-house snoozer? Or (even worse) a generic, uninspired dub remix? What’s the point?! To be fair, most of the latest remixes were from Crystal Fighters’ “unreleased remixes” package, featuring mostly lesser known DJs and producers. Within the next couple weeks, I’m guessing we’ll hear much higher quality remixes from some bigger names in the electro remix scene (*fingers crossed*). So far, other than the remix by KID COLA, my favorites include the ones by Brooklyn’s IN FLAGRANTI (who has two different versions of the remix) and duo PORTMANTEAU from Bristol. And, here they are:
2. Crystal Fighters – I Love London (In Flagranti Vintage Mix)
If you’re going to walk away with anything from this edition, it should be the next feature, which is a remix of the song Hollywood by NEON GOLD RECORDS‘ premiere singer/songwriter talent, MARINA & THE DIAMONDS. The remix was done by UK quartet FENECH SOLER. This is one of the better remixes I’ve heard in the past two or three weeks.
4. Marina & The Diamonds – Hollywood (Fenech-Soler Remix)
I didn’t think I’d ever hear a better-than-the-original remix of Earthquake, but alas I think the remix by Austria’s PHINZ comes damn close. It’s hands down my favorite remix of the song, and although it’s not a banger, it’s got a lot more kick than the original and would probably be better received on the dancefloor than the original version.
5. Little Boots – Earthquake (Phinz Remix)
Prior to this, I never heard of electro-pop duo POPULAR DAMAGE (pictured above), but I figured I’d check out any remix that was done by FUKKK OFFF, who (of course) is AWE-SOME. After hearing the remix of Everybody Got Young, like me, you’ll probably want to check out more stuff from Popular Damage. Let’s hope that we hear more from them soon!
6. Popular Damage – Everybody Got Young (Fukkk Offf Remix)

This week’s edition of nUb Raver Tuesday features new songs and remixes by Chromeo, Dragonette, Lady GaGa, The Toxic Avenger, DEATH TO THE THRONE!!!!!!, Shiny Toy Guns, Designer Drugs, and more! Read previous editions –> here!
So far, the remixes of CHROMEO’s 2009 single Night By Night have been less than impressive. Actually, to be totally honest, they are TERRIBLE. Recent history suggests that Chromeo remixes are tough sells. There’s probably over a hundred combined mashups and remixes of Chromeo songs out there, out of which only a handful could even be considered better or as good as the original tune. One theory is that Chromeo songs are at a much slower BPM than what most electro DJ/remixers are probably accustomed to spinnin’. In general, remixing nu-disco or electrofunk songs and transforming them into club bangers is not an easy task. The end result can be ugly. Producing a watered-down electro/house remix of a Chromeo song doesn’t do anyone any good. So far, my favorite remix of Night By Night has been by San Diego’s BUBBLEGUM SCI FI, who’s quickly picking up steam in the blogosphere. You might also want to check out the edit by BOYS NOIZE, who touched up the remix by fellow German SIRIUSMO.
1. Chromeo – Night By Night (Bubblegum Sci Fi Remix)
DRAGONETTE really does not get enough credit, despite the fact that their second studio album Fixin To Thrill is easily one of the best electro-pop, or better yet, dance albums from the past year, perhaps falling somewhere between the debuts from LITTLE BOOTS (Hands) and LA ROUX (self-titled). The album has impressing many, netting several singles, including the catchy title track Fixin To Thrill, in addition to Gone Too Far, Come On Be Good, Pick Up The Phone, and Easy. Like it’s 2007 predecessor Galore, it is a solid overall effort, although it is a bit front-loaded (i.e., obvious drop-off after the first half). There’s some good remixes of Pick Up The Phone available, including ones by some great producers/DJs like Brooklyn’s MR. VEGA and the prestigious RICHARD X. There have also been some decent remixes of Easy, but none better than the one by BUFFETLIBRE.
3. Dragonette – Pick Up The Phone (Mr. Vega Remix)
I’m not sure if any other remix of Lady GaGa’s Bad Romance will top the one by Brooklyn’s CHEW FU, but the club banger by LA’s SKRILLEX is definitely worth noting. Skrillex’s version certainly hits much harder than the slower, electro-house version by Chew Fu. The more typical or cookie-cutter pop song Telephone, featuring Beyonce, will probably be the next single off of The Fame Monster. It has already been remixed by LA electronic group ELECTROLIGHTZ, and the end result is quite good (even if I’m not that big on the original tune). As an added bonus, check out the very latest remix of Poker Face by none other than HOSHINA ANNIVERSARY.
5. Lady GaGa – Bad Romance (Skrillex Radio Remix)
6. Lady GaGa – Telephone (ft. Beyonce) (Electrolightz Remix)
You’ll notice that the DIRTY NOISE edit of Escape, the banger by THE TOXIC AVENGER, sounds awfully similar to THE BLOODY BEETROOTS remix from about a year ago – in fact, you can’t really tell the difference between the two until you reach about the half-way mark. If anything, I think the Dirty Noise edit, if nothing else, reminds us that the Beetroots remix is one of the sickest bangers from the past two years.
Up to this point, Phoenix, Arizona DJ DEATH TO THE THRONE!!!!!! (that’s SIX exclamation points) has established himself with his remix bangers. But, maybe the landscape will change, assuming his latest studio production I Only Have Eyes For You is an indication of great things to come in the future. The new song is quite impressive…and chaotic…in a good, disorderly-order sort of way. If you’re expecting to hear an epic club banger, like some of his remixes, then you are in for a surprise. Frankly, I Only Have Eyes For You contains a bit of everything – from chip to glitch and electro to retro. It almost sounds like four different songs colliding together, but somehow it works.
8. Death To The Throne!!!!!! – I Only Have Eyes For You
Raise your hand if you totally forgot that SHINY TOY GUNS existed? Ok, so that’s a bit harsh. Oddly enough, the once-popular Oklahoma band produced two singles off of their much-anticipated 2008 follow-up Season of Poison. But, no one really cares about that album, right? At least that’s my logic – why else would the band release a remix album called Girls Le Disko, obviously trying to continue piggy-backing on their huge 2006 hit single. Their reps will probably be scurrying over leaked remixes on all the music blogs (including ours). With that said, here’s the remix of Starts With One by CLASSIXX from LA.
9. Shiny Toy Guns – Starts With One (Classixx Remix)
And finally, New York duo DESIGNER DRUGS have a couple of new bangers out right now, including Riot and Drop Down, which was recently remixed by MENDEL. IMO, the remix is better than the original track.
10. Designer Drugs – Drop Down (Mendel Remix)
Well, this is the last NRT of 2009. Thanks for the support, and see you all in 2010!
BONUS SONGS: 11. Muse – Knights of Cydonia (The Integrals Remix)
Seasons Greetings from all of us at POSTMUSIC.ORG! That’s right, all TWO of us!
I left a few things for you under the blog tree, including one of the best remixes of an old school hip-hop classic I’ve ever heard! Chicago’s electro-house kingpins PAUL ANTHONY and ZXX deserve a lot of credit for their remix of N.W.A.’s Dopeman. Remember THIS? “Don’t get high off your own supply!” Duh!
1. N.W.A. – Dopeman (Paul Anthony & ZXX Remix)
The next one is sort of equivalent to receiving a Christmas sweater as a holiday gift. You may ask yourself, “Why would anyone do this to me?” But c’mon, don’t act like you’re not going to totally rock it at the Christmas Sweater Party.
I think we can all agree that some songs should never be remixed…ever. This is definitely one of them. But boy, do I love THE TWELVES! They never cease to amaze me, not even when they do something as ridiculous as THIS:
There’s already been a couple of good electro remixes of Britney Spears‘ single 3, and surprisingly the one by up-and-comer DallasK (link?) is probably one of the best. Take notice:
I’ve become more and more critical of mashups, but in this case, San Fransisco radio DJ and producer ROSS.FM did an amazing job, pitting the David Guetta & Akon hit single Sexy Bitch with a nice electro-house beat, compliments of Austin, Texas star WOLFGANG GARTNER and his song Don’t Stop.
4. David Guetta & Akon vs. Wolfgang Gartner – Don’t Stop A Sexy Bitch (Ross.FM’s Mashup)
Add these next two selections to your ever-growing collection of PASSION PIT and AMANDA BLANK remixes. The remix of The Reeling by Japanese electronic music icon YASUTAKA NAKATA is certainly one of the better remixes of the song. Likewise, the same could be said for the remix of Might Like U Better by DILLON FRANCIS from Los Angeles. Not the best, but hey, beggars can’t be choosers!
5. Passion Pit – The Reeling (Yasutaka Nakata Capsule Remix)
So the new single Iron Man by Belgium electro producer GTRONIC should probably have been saved as a selection for an edition of nUb Raver Tuesday. But, screw it! Check out the remix by STEREOHEROES. Now, you know it’s gonna be good!
Don’t need much of a setup for the next track, other than the fact that it sounds too good to be true. So, don’t miss this remix of the VITALIC song Second Lives by THE BLOODY BEETROOTS!
8. Vitalic – Second Lives (The Bloody Beetroots Remix)
I’m not much of a Weezer fan, nor do I really care much about their most recent single (If You’re Wondering If I Want You To) I Want You To, but I’ll give any STEVE AOKI remix a chance. It’s a good thing I did!
9. Weezer – (If You’re Wondering If I Want You To) I Want You To (Steve Aoki Remix)
